For example, NORDEL IP 5565 is designed for medium hardness and dense weatherstrip applications. This product sets new standards in cure rate consistency and cleanliness and enables parts manufacturers to achieve improved levels of consistent production and appearance in thermoset elastomer goods ranging from weatherstripping to extruded and molded gasketing to belts.

While NORDEL* IP 5565 is designed for extrusions, it can also be used in molded operations where fast production cycle using a sulfur cure system is required.

  • Extremely uniform, low-contaminant product from lot-to-lot, day-in and day-out.
  • Consistency in cure rate that delivers steady-state extrusion process, scrap reduction and quality.
