Hot Melt
AFFINITY GA Polyolefin Plastomers (POPs) provide performance, processing, and end-user advantages not previously achievable in hot melt adhesive (HMA) applications. These new polymers reliably stick boxes and other substrates together in a broad range of temperatures, while saying goodbye to the odor, gelling, machine wear and tear, and color/clarity disadvantages of EVA-based hot melt formulations.
AFFINITY GA POPs provide you with an opportunity to potentially save costs by:
- Producing clean-running, clear hot melts that not only perform better than current hot melts, but also increase productivity and produce more adhesive per volume of resin used.
- Producing more powerful bonds than competitive materials in both hot and cold environments, allowing a single HMA to be specified in many situations.
- Offering extreme thermal stability, so they have a longer pot life, translating into less frequent maintenance downtime. The stable viscosity means that you can consistently and easily apply hot melts; precisely controlling bead size and placement.
